Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Neuroscience Program at 51¶ÌÊÓÆµ invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year with possibility of renewal contingent on teaching performance and department staffing needs. The area of expertise in the field of Neuroscience is open. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Introduction to Neuroscience, a 200-level survey course, an upper-level seminar, and lab courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. We seek scholars committed to engaging a diverse student body and creating an inclusive classroom environment in a liberal arts context. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely allied field and must
have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date.
