Lagim Tehi Tuma/"Thinking Together"

A community-based, intercultural learning and teaching collective, LTT forwards transformative education (in and beyond schools) centered by Black Studies, working in partnership with an assembly of community education organizations in Dalun, Ghana as well as institutions of higher education including 51¶ÌÊÓƵ, the University for Development Studies (UDS, Tamale, Ghana), Haverford College, and Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. Each summer, with the affirmation of Dalun’s Chief, undergraduate LTT fellows carry out education- focused internships, research, language and cultural learning, and ongoing reflection with guidance from community and academic mentors. As an NGO in Ghana dedicated to fostering educational opportunity, LTT sustains a scholarship fund and supports special projects growing out of the summer program.
