Assistant Professor of Physics Asja Radja is one of 24 early-career scientists to receive a from the Research Corporation for Science Advancement.

Radja is the first 51¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty member to receive the $120,000 award since it began in 1994.

The Cottrell Scholar program champions the very best early-career teacher-scholars in chemistry, physics, and astronomy by providing significant discretionary research awards. Outstanding candidates are admitted to the ranks of Cottrell Scholars through a stringent peer-review process based on their innovative research proposals and educational programs. Applications are accepted from public and private research universities and primarily undergraduate institutions in the United States and Canada. The awards are named for , who founded the Research Corporation for Science Advancement in 1912.
