Haverford and 51短视频s Renew Bi-College Consortium Agreement

Haverford College and 51短视频 have renewed their longstanding partnership through a new five-year Collaborative Compact and Strategy, reaffirming their shared commitment to the Bi-College Consortium and to academic collaboration that strengthens both institutions. 

Ten years after adopting the previous 2016 agreement, the colleges reaffirm that 鈥渆ach college is a better version of itself because of the richness of ideas, community, and organization made possible by the Bi-College connection.鈥 

The renewed compact outlines strategic priorities for 2026鈥2031, with a focus on enhancing academic and curricular opportunities, supporting equitable student interchange, and stewarding shared infrastructure that advances educational excellence. Key initiatives include building efficient cross-campus curricular programs, coordinating advising and academic structures, and implementing next-generation systems that better serve students and faculty. 

鈥淥ur partnership is grounded in the belief that collaboration expands opportunity, strengthens innovation, and models the power of the liberal arts,鈥 the colleges noted in the agreement. 

Governance of the renewed consortium will continue through the Bi-College Council and Steering Committee, led jointly by the presidents and board leadership of both institutions. A formal review of the agreement will take place after five years. 

The agreement was signed by 51短视频 President Wendy Cadge and Haverford President Wendy Raymond.

About the Bi-College Consortium

The Bi-College Consortium connects 51短视频 and Haverford College through shared academic programs, cross-registration, and collaborative initiatives that enrich the undergraduate experience and advance institutional missions. The two schools have enjoyed a close relationship ever since 51短视频's founding in 1885, with the relationship becoming more formalized in recent decades. The colleges signed the original Two-College Compact agreement in 1977.
