Hidden Figures: Women in Space
Hello everyone! The Strawbridge Public Observing Team invites you all to our event "Hidden Figures: Women in Space," happening this Saturday March 21st, from 8 to 10 pm. Check out our new museum style set up, where you can peruse our informational exhibits and science demos while you wait for telescope dome tours. We will also be holding two student talks, and telescope viewings (weather permitting). Coming towards the latter half of the event (after 9pm) will improve your chance at a shorter line, as our events are usually busiest at the beginning. The activities and telescope dome tours run all night, so the only thing that changes with coming later versus earlier is which talk you may attend. To get to the observatory, turn right as you exit the blue bus, going back down the road towards the soccer field until you see our observatory, the building with two big domes. Follow our Instagram for updates and future events: @hcpublicobserving Looking forward to seeing you there!
51¶ÌÊÓƵ welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
